Living in the foothills of beautiful Colorado but still missing and loving all things from the sea, I decided to create my own collection of designs starting from the beginning with ammonites - four hundred million year old ancient creatures that navigated the deep for another three hundred million years leaving their beautiful shells behind for us to treasure. I hope you enjoy my artistic renditions of them. Andromeda, a pattern I have listed, is actually a representation of a prehistoric sharks' tooth whorl. In finding an endless theme that I also love in order to name my ammonites, fossils and shells after, I decided on astronomy. So I've named some of them after stars, constellations, galaxies and heavenly bodies. There are more things from the sea here from fossils to current sea life and more to come. I am now drawing more land animals and focusing on those found in the American West, which I have created a collection for and will be adding more to it as the weeks pass. I look forward to sharing all of them with you. My designs are original wood burnings. I like the old world look it gives to the designs.
